Keep Your Child’s Teeth Clean with Teeth Tissues
*This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Tooth Tissues. I received a review packet of Tooth Tissues to try out. All opinions are 100% mine.
Dental hygiene starts from birth. Even young kids can be prone to cavities. I have been diligently brushing my elder boys teeth since they erupted. However despite my efforts they do have cavities and had to get fillings done and checked on a regular basis.
At that time I used the finger toothbrush and edible toothpaste after lunch and dinner. There wasn’t any Tooth tissues available and even lesser information about nursing/bottle rot.
Now with all the increased knowledge that I have I know the importance of nighttime oral care. I tried out using the tooth tissues with my 6month old. She hasn’t have any teeth yet but am getting her into the routine of cleaning her mouth after feeds.
She doesn’t really like the tooth tissues. I think it tastes funny to her as she gives me the “it tastes yucky” face when I place it in her mouth. I too find that it has a rather strong smell and there is an uncomfortable after feel on my hands after using it. My hands feels extremely dry after using the tooth tissues and I have to wash it with soap to get rid of the uncomfortable feeling.
I tried using the tooth tissues on the elder boys too. They too were initially hesistant about using it. However after some persuading they allowed me to use it to clean their teeth. It does help to remove plague which has accumulated on their teeth very easily.
After trying it out for more then a week on all 3 kids I feel that the Tooth tissues are extremely handy to use when we are out. However it can be a quite costly at $15.90 for a packet and $40.50 for a pack of 3. They are available at selected Guardian Pharmacies here in Singapore or you can also purchase them online via Amazon.

We used the finger brush and we’d used a wet (thin) washcloth to gently clean their teeth when the kids were babies. 🙂

@Buckeroomama,
I still use the finger brush daily with #3 with edible toothpaste when I bathe her. I find it more effective then the thin washcloth which I initially used when she was a newborn. I was trying out the teeth tissues as were offered some as samples but don’t think I will stick to using it.

You can source out advertising networks like Social Spark. They do give some good opps sometimes.
