Celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival
Over the weekend the kids and I gathered at a relatives house to celebrate the Mid Autumn Festival. The kids seldom get to meet up with their cousins and other relatives so it was a great chance for them to mingle and mix around.
We were invited for dinner but went a bit earlier so that the kids could enjoy themselves in the pool. My water babies can’t get enough of the water and happily jumped in when we reached my aunt’s house.
The boys went out on their first lantern night walk after dinner. It was the fun carry a lantern each and having the place lit up by the candlelight.
It was also the first time that Tiger girl got to carry a lantern which was lit up by a candle. When she was younger we only allowed her to carry battery operated lanterns for safety.
The kids has lots of fun carrying the lanterns and walking around.
It was a blessing that the air was good that Saturday as we had been affected ( and am still affected) by poor quality air which range from the very unhealthy to hazards at times ( PSI of 200-300++)
Both the adults and kids had lanterns to carry and walk around. I think the last time I went for a lantern parade was when I was in Primary school. That was certainly ages ago!!
