Writer’s Workshop: Dear Santa

Christmas Tree

Christmas Tree

Dear Santa,

We won’t be having our Christmas Tree up this year. It has been an extremely busy month coupled with the fact that we won’t be at home to enjoy the tree on Christmas day.  Even though the tree won’t be up but could I have some presents under the virtual tree instead?

xmas-giftboxTo make it easier for you I have listed down some items I would like to see for me under my virtual tree.

  1. Spa Vouchers.

It would be great if I could have some spa vouchers to go for a massage to ease my aching muscles. We did go for an hour long  massage when we were in Thailand but being able to go more  frequently would certainly perk up my day.

  2. Shopping vouchers

Shopping vouchers would be good too. I would like to revamp my current wardrobe and get some new additions. It would be great to get new clothes for the kids too.

  3. Travel vouchers

I love visiting new places and with travel vouchers I would be able to save the hefty airfare involve in transporting the whole family out of Singapore to our chosen destination.

  4. Helper on demand
It would be so ideal if I could get a helper on demand to do stuff like pick up the kids, clean the house or just baby sit them so that I have more time to go for regular Zumba classes and really be able to get down to ideal weight faster.

What will you be hoping to get from Santa this year?

Any must get items on your list?

Writer’s Workshop: Come Play with Me

hello kitty

There is something about the little cat with no mouth that intrigues me.  The little kitty all the way from Japan- Hello Kitty.  I have always had a soft spot for it and have loved it since I was a young girl.  Since Tiger girl came into our lives I have been keen to share my love for Hello Kitty with her.

Tiger girl playing

This week I bought her her first  doll house. A  Hello Kitty Mushroom shaped doll house.  It had a handle on top so it is easy for her to carry around and place back on her  toy cupboard after play.   Tiger girl was extremely happy when she saw the doll house waiting for her at home after I fetched her from school. She couldn’t wait to tear open the package when she saw that it was of her favourite character. She  screamed “Hello Kitty!!Mummy open for me please!!” when she saw her new toy.

Anyone want to come over and play house?

Do you like Hello Kitty also?
