Weekend in Instagram

Valentine’s Day Balloon Art
Valentines’ Day weekend was really special for me this year. This year I finally get some couple time to spend the weekend with R without the kids. We were lucky that our parents were willing to take care of the kids on our behalf so that we could get the weekend off.

Sakura and Cherry Blossom Flower viewing
I flew off to Taipei to meet up with R and spend the whole weekend with him. Our first destination was a private Sakura Tea garden where one could admire the flowers.

Making chocolates
On Valentines’s day itself we went to Tam Shui and visited the World Chocolate Wonderland which is situated at Tam Shui fisherman’s wharf. It was the first time that we tried out making chocolate lollipops and it was certainly fun.

Our Chocolate Lolipops

Valentine’s Day Treats
It was the first time that I tried chocolate infused pasta and chocolate curry rice. It tasted really unique and I’m sure the kids would have loved to have chocolate in everything that they eat too.

Waterfall at Shi Fen
Besides going to the seaside we also went waterfall viewing. I was fortunate to be able to experience this magnificent view at Shi Fen. The last time R and I went waterfall viewing was back in 2013 when we went to Jeju on holidays with Tiger girl.

The seaside at Keelong
It was off to the seaside again on Sunday as we went to view the unique rock formations off the port of the seaside town of Keelong.

Viewing Tulips t Taoyuan
We visited a few different mountainsides and seasides and were fortunate to see many many different flowers over the weekend. It was certainly better then only getting a bouquet of flowers to admire.
Will be uploading the rest of the hundred of pictures which I took with my camera over the Chinese New Year break during the end of this week.

That was indeed a wonderful time spent together with your dearest. It’s nice that you still spend time together alone even when you already have kids.

This is one thing that I hope that we can do as a couple. I wish I have parents or in-laws who will look after my son so we could have a date. 🙂 I like the chocolate making experience.
