Welcoming the Year of the Snake

Tiger Girl and the God of Fortune

Tiger Girl and the God of Fortune

We saw this cute inflated God of Fortune outside a Video shop at the airport and Tiger girl was more then happy to pose in front of it for the camera.  I am hoping that the God of Fortune does bring us lots of wealth this year of the Snake 🙂

Lovely blooms

Lovely blooms

I saw these lovely blooms decorating the pillars outside Centerpoint shopping centre over the weekend.  There is something seriously wrong with my HTC phone camera as you can see that in the picture above the light pale pink flowers were actually a shade of light yellow but appears pink on my screen and capture. Talk about mystifying pictures!!

The word “Chun” ( Spring) in flowers and lit up on display at IMM shopping mall. I love how attractive the decoration looked with lanterns adorning the word on the side.

How do you welcome the Year of the Snake in your country?

3. The kids had lots of fun cycling at Pasir Ris Park. We haven’t gone cycling many times as the weather hasn’t been that good but on the Sunday morning the weather was perfect. There was a cool sea breeze the whole time we were there at the park.

5. It was a blast from the past when I compared where I was 10 years ago with the present day. Some things have change while others have remained the same.
