Writer’s Workshop: Importance of Trust
Beautiful Bloom
TRUST is something which I take seriously. Without Trust there can’t be any relationships or strong bonds between one individual and another. Without Trust the fabric which builds and binds a family will come crumbling down.

Many a times when I feel that I’m ready to give up and throw in the towel I refer back to the Proverb 3:5 when I feel that my faith is wavering. It does help me refocus my goals in life and make me soldier on. It also reminds me to cast all my worries to the LORD and he will help to see me through any rough patches which I may be going through.

Oh wow, thank you for this message, Dominique. It couldn’t have arrived at a better timing. 🙂

Yes, when I put my trust in God, all my previous worries and anxieties disappeared. It is such a relief!

Great message Dominique! Trust is something that has to be earned.

I do trust in God. It’s me I don’t trust sometimes hehehe. That is why it is important for me to ask for God’s wisdom, particularly on very crucial issues of life. Guided by His wisdom, whatever happens, it’s always for the best. Trusting in Him gives me a sense of calm that no deep breathing could give. 🙂

I do! He has lived up to my placing it in Him time and time again!

Absolutely! Great post! Even when we go through the hardest moments in life, God has a reason though sometimes we don’t realize it at the moment.

Being a writer and trying to be a good person requires much faith and commitment, discipline, creativity, and hard work. May you be blessed in all you wish to achieve.

When I was younger my faith was not as strong as it is now. My troubles then seemed insurmountable. I am glad those days are behind me. I Trust and my life is much different now… Thank GOD

Thank you, Dominique~~I needed this verse, it was very timely tonight.
It reminded me of:
Luke 8:11-16 Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God. … So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it … so will my message be that goes out of my mouth it won’t return to me empty.
Yes, I trust in God too. That trust has helped me to bear in some tough situations.
..
BTW, I was over your way for the last three weeks, but not quite there, only to NZ. Have you been there or to the AUS (was there too)?

@Jim,
I have been to Australia before. In fact was studying in Sydney and Melbourne when I was in University back then. I haven’t been to NZ yet.

Trust is almost equivalent to faith. Life is hard without it.

I loved the second picture quote you put up. When I am really struggling I remember the scripture that says God will only give us as many trials as we can handle. It helps to know that whatever I am going through He knows I can get through it with his help. Thank you for such a lovely post today!

Wonderful I post! 🙂

What a warm post — so encouraging.
I never planned to become a travel writer, but it happened. And then God-sized things started happening like getting featured in the March issue of Woman’s Day magazine!!! Little old me! Then an erroneously sent email landed in my inbox — and voila! It turned into a four-article series for a niche market magazine. None of these things happen without God’s help! I never, in a million years, could dream up what God’s doing in my life. I AM quite glad He picked me!!!
Blessings to you!

Trust is hard, but when you can find a way to have it, it’s so wonderful – especially, as you say, with the Lord. When I put my trust fully in Him, things go well. 🙂

Great post. Trust is the basis of any long lasting, loving relationship…

I am not a religious person, but I always appreciate the strong messages and wisdom that you can apply in your life, regardless of church or faith.

I do put my trust in god, but I do a lot too. I usually give it up to the hands of god when there is a decision that is being made and I am not the maker…that is when I feel god will grant or not or will lead the way with the outcome. In this aspect, it has been working for me…to easily accept what is meant to be.

great uplifting message–I love the trust that you are right where you are ment to be!

Good reminder! Faith and trust can be challenged when the really big stuff hits the fan, but if you have that foundation, you know where to turn to ask for your faith and trust to be restored.

Ahh yes trust.
Once lost is not an easy feat to regain.
I tell my children how important it is for me to be able to trust them, hence why lying is a breach of trust. I think they are learning.
I put my trust in the Lord. It’s a long journey. Sometimes I fail, but he is always waiting for me to remember his love and care.
Beautiful post!

Hope is a powerful word for me personally as well.
This is such a good reminder that we need to let our higher power carry our concerns and fears. It is really difficult to shoulder that weight alone.
Thank you for linking.
