Earlier this week I met up with some friends of mine for lunch and tea. We went to Pho 99 for lunch and I ordered the beef macaroni pictured above. Most of the time most places that I have been to serve Chicken macaroni and it was the first time I was having beef instead. The food was really yummy and the beef was very tender. I’m considering cooking something similar for the boys to eat next week.
After lunch we crossed the street and headed to Truffs a small little cafe for tea. The decor beside the table which we sat at. I love how rustic it looks and how the simple decor enhances the ambiance of the place.
The mixed bowl of sugars which greeted us as the table. I love how they were in cubes and a mixture of white and brown sugars.
Photo in a photo about the chocolate cake. Camera phones come in handy when one doesn’t have a camera around.
The chocolate cake and tart which we shared for tea. Both of them tasted heavenly.

I just had dinner and looking at your pictures makes me crave for chocolate cake, waaaah! Are those beef strips in your macaroni? I’m used to seeing ground beef in macaroni.

Yes they are beef stripes. It certainly tastes much better this way then using ground beef.

it looks like you had a wonderful time.
I always use my husbands iPhone when we go out and I don’t have my camera with me. He hates it as he always reads something on it while I’m taking pictures. When I take his phone it means that he can’t read and he has to watch me bored running around and taking pictures of all kinds of crazy things…
