Are you on the lookout for new shoes? I’m personally looking to get a new pair for my collection. Krista of CouponFreestuff recently reviewed Ugglebo clogs and is sharing with us her review.
Krista’s Review:
I am not your typical woman who is completely enamored with shoes. I do have a few pair in my closet that are my trusty friends and I love them. Even though I am not a shoe collector, I still look out for the next pair of faves to add to my small, intimate collection.
I was recently introduced to Ugglebo clogs and I absolutely love them. These stylish, hand crafted clogs are a must have for every wardrobe. I have worn them with jeans and a tee, shorts and a skirt set and they look beautiful with each one. You can see and feel the time and pride that went into making each pair.
These clogs are so comfortable and easy on the feet. I am someone who usually kicks off their shoes as soon as I am able , but with these shoes, I didn’t feel the need or the urge to shed them as soon as possible. They feel as if they were contoured just for me, a perfect fit for my feet. I am also flat footed and worried that they may cause my feet to ache but I was completely comfortable in them and had no problems at all. My mother saw them when she came over and has now ” borrowed” them.
Made in Sweden since 1965, Ugglebo is also a company that believes in giving back. Their Re-Clog the world project urges you to send in your old clogs no matter what brand they are and they are donated to someone who cannot afford to buy shoes. They offer a 25% discount to anyone who donates and you can find all of the info you need to give back as well. By recycling your shoes, you are also making the planet a better place.
The Milan clogs, for example, are made with a low heel, Alderwood base and a beautiful, traditional leather.
The Seoul Swedish Clogs are also low heeled Alderwood but offer a luxurious suede leather. The clogs are so versatile and can be worn to work, out on the town or even to the beach.
The Tokyo clogs offer the low heeled Alderwood base and a plush Nubuc leather and are a great escape from high heels.
Ugglebo was founded by master clog maker, Sven Carlsson and have made his beautiful creations in the same factory since 1965 along side his son, Christer. His creations stay true to swedish clog making but definitely adds a sophisticated, modern flair. I know you will love these shoes as much as I do and they will make a great addition to your wardrobe.
