Weekend Reflections- Being Systamatic

The  week really passes very fast. Before I know it Saturday has rolled in again.

The past week has been very busy for me at work.

We are in the last term of the school year and it’s an extremely short term for us with the PSLE exams and marking week. Most of us are busy trying to finish the syllabus and doing revision before the upcoming SA2 exams.

The amount of work is piling up both at work and at home. With more on my already very full platter I have cut down on multitasking as it has been taking more time to complete both task then focusing  just on one task at a time.

I also realised that it is not advisable to force myself to complete a task when my attention spend and enegry level starts to wain but to focus on another task instead.

By compelling myself to  sit down and finish the pile of marking while I am thinking about what to cook for dinner that night isn’t going to make the marking going any faster. Instead it would be more practical to shelf the papers and continue the next day.

Working with such an attitude has made it easier for me to clear both the marking, cooking and daily planning more easily. Having a schedule for the boys has also make it easier for carrying out my daily tasks.

How has your week been so far?
