Three Things Every Parent Should Teach Their Kids

There are many different things which we hope that our children are able to learn from us parents.

Here are three things which I feel are essential for them to learn.

  1. How to be independent To be able to do things for themselves. To think rationally when faced with different challenges and problems.
  2. Be optimistic Very often kids get disappointed and then to give up before even really trying. It is important to ingrain them a positive mindset that it is possible to achieve things that seem impossible if they put their heart and mind to it and give it a try.
  3. Be Morally Upright

To be  a honest and god abiding person who knows how to be considerate, respectful and understanding towards others.

What are the three things you as a parent
feel is important that your child know?

1- The power of choice. You can choose to be happy or sad, naughty and be disliked or obedient and be loved…etc

    2- The courage to try.

3- The world is full of possibilities. There is never a definite “no” or “yes” to anything… life is full of grey areas….

My son is just one year old and I want him to grow upright. I go with you on the three things you have stated above. There’s nothing more important than being independent and morally upright. :-)

I feel the three things my children must be taught are:

    1) Be confident
    2) Make lots of mistakes but be certain to learn from them.
    3) Do unto others as you would have others do unto you.
