I agree the respecting ourselves if very important. As kids for them to learn more about self-respect would be to first learn how to be polite and show respect to others. I feel that this is the best way at their age for them to learn.
I did feel that the post was kinda incomplete after I posted it.. will be putting in a part 2 to this topic on respect to make it more”complete”

Respecting ourselves is more important. Because unless n until you respect yourself and your values, you can’t give respect to others. As it is said everything starts with your own self.
