Reflective Monday -Sticker Me Up!!

My boys simply love playing with stickers. Just look at them going wild with the book of Mickey Mouse stickers that I bought for them.

Roy will go ” Mummy.. Here!!!,here… and here!!” pointing to the parts of his hands which he wants the stickers to go on.

Ryan on the other hand uses it as a “weapon” from escaping dinner time.

“Ryan eat your dinner. NOW!!” I would order him after seeing him playing around with the food for more then 20 mins

“Hmmm……!!!” he would say meaning-” Mummy, I can’t eat!! I’m been Plastered!!”

[* An extremely good reason for not finishing his dinner]

Talk about innovative ways of using a sticker.

Another way to add to your pocket fund

I’ve recently been searching for different ways to monetize this site so that I would be able to pay for the hosting charges for this domain. I stumbled upon this blog network

Pay Per Post, another IZEA network, has opened another channel for me to built up my kitty fund while staying at home to take care of the kids. This is one of the biggest and most established blog network that I know of. I got to know about this network from another mommy blogger’s blog which I visit frequently.

She placed a Pay Per Post badge prominently on her site.  It attracted my attention to click on it to find out more.  I was pleasantly surprised that she would be able to earn through referral to the network.  Besides being able to earn through referral there are many different opportunities that one can take at the marketplace to blog about.

I feel that it is great that I am establishing more channels ( even though not a big one) of drawing in income through this site.

I’m trying out this tried and tested network and hoping to build up enough funds for a 2nd birthday bash for Roy this december.

The Perfect Solution to Buses N Trains

While out shopping during the weekend we went to Spotlight and saw this “must have” carpet.  It was simply PERFECT!!! With this new carpet I do not need to constantly play referee with the boys as one tries to put his beloved buses along the train tracks while his brother tries to shove them off so he can play with his trains on it instead.  Now buses and trains can go along side by side and there will be no more traffic chaos.

The boys can go around the whole city in an afternoon as they travel from the Zoo to the school, the hospital, supermarket, train station and back home. The best thing is that the both of them are playing without screaming and shouting at each other. Really peace to my ears.
